Carnival Day map

Carnival Field

16 Aug, 2017, All day

The big day. We get under way outside the Cromer Museum at 09:30am with music from the Romford Drum and Trumpet Corps, followed by the presentation of prizes for many of the Carnival events. The band will then lead the Carnival Royal Party up to the Runton Road field where there's a full programme of events with flying displays; the Red Arrows are at 11am this year. Arena events finish at 4pm so that the field can be cleared and the floats, bands and walking fancy dress can assemble for the Grand Parade.
That will leave the field at 7 pm and go through the town. The parade usually takes an hour and a half to wend along its route, so be prepared to arrive early, and leave after the traffic starts to move again. Have a great day! Full Carnvial event listings for the whole week are at the Carnival web site, from the 'Events' button.
